The Mother Church

The Mother Church sponsors lectures on Christian Science. These lectures introduce Christian Science and illustrate its healing approach to today's problems and issues.

You may click on the image of the Mother Church at left to listen to excerpts from recent lectures on Christian Science via the Internet. Twice a month on weekends you can also hear a full 30 minute recorded lecture.

Historical Recordings

During the 1960's, Christian Science lectures were frequently broadcast in the New York City area. As it happens, the webmaster of this site made recordings of some of them on reel-to-reel tape. As a special feature, visitors to this site may now listen to certain of these lectures.

The lectures available are shown below. Further lectures will be added as time permits.

Each one-hour lecture is divided into four segments of approximately 15 minutes each. To play the lecture, click on the link for Part 1. When it is finished, click Part 2, etc.

To hear the audio, you will need the free RealAudio 10 player. If you do not have it, you can download a free player from RealAudio. Note: Do not be hoodwinked into a free trial of anything. All you need to do is click on the gray 'Free RealPlayer' link in the upper right side of the RealAudio page, then download the free basic player.

Radio Broadcasts

The Christian Science Sentinel - Radio Edition may be listened to at your computer.

Tune in and you'll hear thoughtful interviews with people who are discovering God in their everyday lives, comforting testimonies of healing, and feature articles that inform, inspire and motivate.

You may listen to a weekly radio broadcast Sunday mornings at 7 a.m. from WOR 710 on the AM dial, and also at 9:30 a.m. from WGCH 1490 on the AM dial.

Willimantic - The Willimantic church sponsors a Christian Science Weekly Bible Lesson broadcast on Channel 14 for subscribers to Charter Communication Cable Service at noon on Sundays and at 7 p.m. on alternate Thursdays.
