Christian Science churches maintain free public Reading Rooms in their communities. You are welcome to drop by and visit- you don't have to be a Christian Scientist!
At a Reading Room you'll find a quiet place to read, study and pray.
You'll also find these resources:
The King James Version of the Bible and Bible reference books.
The Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy
Books on Christian Science, and a variety of pamphlets which describe how Christian Science can help you in your daily life. Most books and other items may be borrowed from the lending library, or they may be purchased.
You will also find all of the periodicals, such as The Christian Science Monitor, the Pulitzer Prize-winning international daily newspaper.
You can read the weekly Lesson-Sermon, and at some Reading Rooms you can listen to audio tapes or view videos.
The attendant is a member of the church
in your community, and will be happy to explain our church
services or answer any questions you may have on Christian
Science.
